Paying homage to her hometown and their love for folk music, the musical duo Katie Dobson and Josh Fairweather perform a mixture of stripped back covers and originals that capture the very essence of why they both fell in love with music. Being from a small town in England, Katie credits a lot of her admiration for music to being brought up in a house that was always playing music. From waking up to ACDC and Journey being blasted, to grandparents singing the classics, she’s always associated music with home. On the other hand, Josh has spent his whole life in Perth, growing up and fostering his passion for music locally as well as music from Katie’s edge of the world.
